Temperature vs. Latitude
The temperature chart shows that the highest temperatures are found in cities nearest the equator (latitudes near 0). Temperatures slowly decline as the latitude moves towards both the North and South Pole (latitudes near 80 and -60, respectively), which is where the lowest temperatures were recorded. These results follow the expected pattern of global temperatures.
